Community Road Empowerment (CORE) in collaboration with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have been implementing a Government of Japan funded Project titled ‘Stabilization and recovery of communities affected by violent extremism, conflict and disasters in Kenya’ in Bungoma and Busia Counties in the months of February and March 2021.
In Bungoma County the Direct beneficiaries 50 youths, indirect beneficiaries of over 200 households and 2,000 members of community who are currently benefitting from the 2 (2) kilometers of improved road access which leads to social amenities such as health centre, schools and local market.
CORE-UNDP Project – BUSIA
In Busia County, the Direct beneficiaries – 50 youths, indirect beneficiaries are over 500 households and 4,000 members of community who are currently benefitting from the two (2) kilometers improved road access which leads to six (6) primary and seven (7) secondary schools and one local market.
