TREE PLANTING
CORE-UNDP ENVIRONMENT FLARAK PROJECT- 2022/2023
Forestry and land restoration action for Kenya’s NDC (Flarak) project identifies the urgent need to design sustainable measures to resolve systemic barriers that continue to hinder sustainable tree growing and unmitigated ecosystem and land degradation.
CORE was mandated to establish tree nurseries in 20 schools as follows; Kakamega 4 schools, Vihiga 2 schools, Uasin Gishu 3 schools, Elgeyo Marakwet 3 schools, Kajiado 4 schools, and Narok 4 schools.
