OBJECTIVES
The principal objective of this Job is to design the overall layout and maintenance and request updating for websites.
SCOPE OF SERVICES FOR WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST.

Under this Project, the Website Development Specialist shall carry out the following tasks:
a) Offer Web hosting services like Domain registration, and email hosting.
b) In charge of website development, design and managing database.
c) Offer Hardware and Software maintenance and support to Project team members.
d) Offer data safeguarding confidentiality and data recovery.
e) Providing IT solutions and consultancy service.
DELIVERABLES/SPECIFIC OUTPUTS EXPECTED FROM THE WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST.
a) Develop website domain for the project.
b) Update relevant information for the project on the website linking with social media, emails and other related sites.
c) Ensure the website is working all the time during the project period.

PROVISION OF MONITORING AND PROGRESS CONTROLS.
|
Deliverables will be agreed with CORE, a schedule of days worked, outputs produced, and costs incurred will be monitored by CORE in close consultation with the World Bank. Payment will be made against key deliverables. Payments will be authorized by the WB and CORE.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES.
|
The Website Development Specialist will have the following qualifications and experience:
a) Must have ability to work as a team, taking instructions from CORE and working on graphic design development and content updating frequently.
b) Tax compliant and KRA PIN certificate
c) Over five years or more on professional design working experience.
d) Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology (IT), graphic design or a related field.
e) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator)
f) Must have Portfolio of strong creative network.
g) Experience with HTML, Java script, and CSS.
h) Must be flexible and have ability of a quick thinker to help troubleshoot
i) Highlights possible solutions for project issues based on relevant experiences.
j) Formulating and modifying designs to fulfill initial brief and any further client requests.
k) Planning and prioritizing work schedule and budget for design creation for updating on the website.
l) Able to meet goals and timelines for deliverables.
